- NIH, National Institute on Aging, Intramural Research Program, Longitudinal Studies Section intends to negotiate on a sole source basis to the BioServe Biotechnologies, Ltd, 1050 West Street, Laurel, MD 20707. The purpose of this request is to obtain DNA Nucleic Acid Extractions and preparation of two Aliquots (buffy coat from 3ml whole blood). This vendor will utilize a non-organic method to isolate DNA from the buffy coats. BioServe will maintain an accurate record of all specimens, inventory all incoming samples against a manifest that is supplied by the client, quality control, and generate an inspection report. Specimens will be ship out in accordance with IATA/ICAO Regulations.
