Description
Subsurface exploration including mobilization, soil drilling services, ground water monitoring, laboratory testing and soils engineering reports for water supply, water storage, waste water treatment facilities, soild waste sites and building construction in the Aberdeen Area. The investigations are to be performed by a qualified soils investigation firm with in-house soils testing field equipment and personnel, in-house soils testing laboratory with equipment and personnel and in-house registered professional engineers. This will be an indefinite quantity type contract. Duration of the contract will be for one (1) year after notice of award, with four (4) option years. The work locations are at various communities on the following reservations: Lake Traversie, Yankton, Flandreau, Standing Rock, Crow Creek, Lower Brule, Cheyenne River, Rosebud and Pine Ridge Reservation, in South Dakota and Standing Rock, Trenton, Fort Berthold, Turtle Mountain and Fort Totten Reservations in North Dakota and Winnebago, Omaha and Santee Reservations in Nebraska. The selection of the A&E firm will be based on the evaluation of the following criteria: Qualifications of professional staff including professional engineers currently registered in the States of North and/or South Dakota. Specialized experience and technical competence of the firm in the type of work required. Compatibility of the firm to accomplish the work in the required time. Location of the firm in general geographical area of the projects. Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of quality work and compliance with performance. Those firms that meet the requirements described in this announcement and wish to be considered are required to submit SF-254's and SF-255's. Response to this Synopsis must be received in this office no later than 3:00 P.M. (CST) on May 1, 2003 to be considered for selection.
