- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Aanderaa Instruments A/S for the office of Pacific Marine Environmetal Laboratory (PMEL) in Seattle, WA. Purpose of proposed contract is for purchase of two model RCM-9 KMC II Aanderaa Brand Instruments. The RCM-9 KMC II current meters will be used for 2003 PMEL oceanographic mooring program south of St. Lawrence Island in the Bering Sea for July 2003 deployment at the NW Bering Sea study area.. The Aanderaa current meters are the best available instrument that can provide the data required for this project, PMEL has standardized with Aanderaa brand instruments and has used them for PMEL programs the last twenty-five years. This notice may represent the only official notice. Requests for solicitation will not be honored. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.00.
