- Description
- Project involves furnishing a Type III helicopter for Region 2 exclusive use helicopter services certified in accordance with 14 CFR FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations) Part 27, paragraph 27.143, airworthiness standards normal category rotorcraft, with demonstrated hovering controllability and maneuverability with 17 knot wind from any direction. Availability period is from approximately June 17 through July 16, 2003 at the Red Feather Helibase, Red Feather, Colorado, Arapaho/Roosevelt National Forest, and July 17 through September 14, 2003 at the Custer Helibase, Custer, South Dakota, Black Hills National Forest. Contract time is base year period (90 days) plus two (2) possible option years (each 90 days possible). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation package is expected to be available within 2 weeks of this posting date. This is an electronic solicitation only.
