- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Heath Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services, Miami Springs, FL intends to procure the following: Uniformed Armed Security Guard at USDA APHIS VS 5600 NW 36th St., RM 560, Miami, FL., to work during the customer services hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The guard will be located at the entrance of the office and will only be able to take a break during the lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., or until the last customer has been served after closing at 11:30 a.m. Service to start on April 21, 2003 through September 30, 2003. Vendor to supervise; provide uniforms, all necessary equipment, including rapid response in an emergency situation, pay wages based on the wage determination for county. NAICS Code 561612. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITAION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12.
