- The U.S. COAST GUARD/CEU PROVIDENCE invites you to join us and attend Alliance New England, a small business procurement Conference & Trade Show, April 15th at the RI Convention Center, Providence, RI. Don't miss this opportunity to meet buyers from GSA, DoD, federal and state agencies and prime contractors all with one visit to the Rhode Island Convention Center. This is a conference designed for small businesses to meet and network with federal, state and local government agencies and prime contractors and learn what it takes to do business with them. Exhibitors will include Federal, state and local buying agencies, along with major purchasers and assistance agencies. Some small businesses are also encouraged to exhibit if their market is business, in general. We expect over 500 business people to attend and represent women-owned, veteran-owned, minority-owned and HUBZone businesses as well as small businesses in general. The event features Paulette Widmann, Deputy Director of Small Business for the Secretary of the Navy. Other speakers include representatives from the US Small Business Administration, US Dept of the Navy and prime contractors.
