- Provide all necessary labor, material, supervision and equipment for general repairs and alterations to Government owned and leased facilities throughout the National Capital Region. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Construction Task Order Contract under which the Government will issue task orders to perform associated services for construction projects ranging from $2,000.00 to $1,900,000.00. The Government anticipates making multiple awards to a maximum of seven (7) contractors. Services shall be provided for a one year base period with four (4) one year unilateral options on the part of the government. The yearly minimum ordering limitation shall be $2,000, and the maximum ordering limitation shall be $10,000,000. Individual delivery orders exceeding $2,000 will be competed among the selected firms under the contract unless the Government deems otherwise on an individual task order basis. The estimated cost of construction for a given year under this contract is approximately $10,000,000.00. Offerors will be evaluated using source selection procedures based upon technical and price trade-offs as outlined in the solicitation. The evaluation of price and price related factors will be approximately equal to the technical factors. Award will be made to the contractors who represent the "Best Value" to the Government. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses only. Women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are women-owned. The NAIC for this procurement is 233320 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. There will be no public opening of offers. The RFP will be available for issuance on or about April 8, 2003, and will be due on May 8, 2003. GSA is issuing only the main contract documents electronically.
