Description: NA Original Notification: The U. S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, anticipates award of a contract covering services required in support of The Program and Project Management Information System 2 (P2) System Maintenance and Support Contract. These services may i nclude deployment, implementation and maintenance of Phase I Version of P2 System. Additional services may include support for future phases of the P2 System. P2 System Deployment/Implementation, as required, (a) develop new data conv ersions and modify previously developed data conversions by configuring the COTS Software (Oracle and Primavera Applications) to enable the new P2 database to be populated with t he existing USACE data; (b) load/convert/populate the P2 database with the ex isting data for all necessary USACE locations; (c) support ?Just-in-Time? training as necessary; (d) set up software/system applications at USACE sites for a successful installa tion of the P2 System; and (e) provide implementation support of the P2 System . Maintenance of the P2 system, as required, (a) maintain a telephone hotline to provide assistance to users of the P2 System; (b) make necessary changes to the P2 System and it s interfaces. Future Phase II of the P2 System, as required, (a) investigate, document, code, and test any approved changes to the existing P2 System; (b) investigate, document, code, and test any additional approved interfaces with the existing P2 System . BACKGROUND: The P2 System is a tool to effectively manage projects in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers? (USACE) three core mission areas: Military, Civil Works, and Environmental including support services. P2 will provide structure and support to enhanc e our project management business process, support the Regional Business Conc ept, provide for decision support capability using a single data base, utilize on-line analytical processing (OLAP) tools to generate customized reports, and maximize the use of t he Internet. The proposed contract listed herein is set-aside to the U.S. Sm all Business Administration under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. Offers from concerns other than those meeting the 8(a) Program criteria are not solicited. This contract will cover a basic one-year requirement in FY03 for CONUS and OCONUS operatio ns plus four-year options. The anticipated contract will be award as an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) service type contract with option provisions for Time and Material (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) labor rates and cost reimbursable tra vel expenses.
