- NA HQ Military Traffic Management Command intends to solicit, negotiate and award under full and open competition procedures, a firm fixed price requirements type contract for transportation services. This notice is an update to previously synopsized announc ement. Solicitation is due to be released o/a 26 March 03. Period of performance is for a 2 year base period of performance, 3 one-year option periods, and an award term of up to five years (potential- awarded in one-year increments). Award will be made on a best value basis to the Government. Services include complete transportation services for movement of privately owned vehicles (POVs) belonging to US Military members and DoD civilian employees of the US Government between continental US (CONUS) and overseas locations (OCONUS), and storage CONUS.
