- NA Solicitation Number DABN01-03-T-0144, Amendment 001. Questions concerning Preolicitation Notice. (This is a combined synopsis/solicitation not a Presolicitation notice.) 1. Is this workforce currently in-place? No 2. Is there a contractor currently performing this function? NO 3. If no to the 2 questions above is there a work force pool available in the immediate area? Not known 4. No information was provided pertaining to administrative personnel, ration personnel, headcount/cashiers, facility managers, assistant managers etc. Could more information be provided to clarify this area? Need Food Preparation Services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. 5. Does CPO control the DFA support or is this also contracted? No 6. There are no specifics on the number and type of equipment, i.e how many grills, tilt grills, fryers, serving lines etc? Sufficient available to perform the required services. 6. Does the military purchase, receive, issue and account for all food items? Yes 7. The headcount and feeding times information was not clear on the Fed Biz Ops announcement. Can this information be clarified? Estimated heads breakfast, lunch and dinner 890 heads Serving times. 0700-830 Breakfast (Except Thursday) 11:30-13:00 Lunch dto 17:00-18:30 Dinner dto Thursday 0600-0730 1200-1300 1600-1730 Access to dining facilities: 0500-13:30 and 10:30 ? 18:30 Preparation times for each serving 1.5hrs. Weekends U.S. & USAREUR Holidays: Dinner not required Thanksgiving Day 200 heads No dinner required. 8. Is this under a collective bargaining agreement? No 9. Could the current wages for the different jobs and ranges be provided? Information not available. 10. Who performs the line serving functions? Contractor Personnel 11. Is this a seven day a week/365 day a year operation? Yes, 3 meals per day see schedule above 11. Is this contract paid in US Dollars or German Marks? The contract will be awarded in the local currency of the contractor (in accordance with quotation received), i.e. if the contractor is located in the U.S. then the contract will be in U.S dollars, if the contractor is a registered firm in a European country then the contract should be awarded in their local currency. Obviously the contractor must have authorization to perform services in Germany. 12 Paragraph 4 of synopsis: Reference to inclusion of addendum regarding warranty information and parts availability is hereby deleted.
