- The VA Medical Center White River Junction, Vermont intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for an iCycler Thermal Cycler including optical module, installation kit, two filter sets, software and instructions, power module for optical system, cables, connectors, tools, PCR tubes and plates. Includes 96 well x 0.2 ml reaction moduel, iCycler base with 96 x 0.2ml iCycler reaction module, in sample temperature probe.Computer system PC Pentium 4 1.8GHz with 256kB cache,20GB hard drive, 256MB RAM upgradeable to 3GB, 24x10x/40x CD-RW, NVIDIA AGP video card with 16MB VRAM,Intel Pro/100 Ethernet card, 2 serial ports, 1 parallel port, 1VGA monitor connection, 4USB ports, Windows 2000, NEC Multisync LCD 1550 V, 15 inch LCD monitor. Delivery shall be FOB origin. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contracting Officer. Responses received on or before April 2, 2003, will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice will be solely at the discretion of the Government.
