- Description
- It is the Navy Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) and Space goal that all PEO (C4I & Space) software code will reside in the software component library on the Distributed Development Website Environment (DDWE) (https://cas2u.spawar.navy.mil) with Unlimited Data Rights. By establishing the DDWE site and populating it with all new and selected existing C4I & Space domain components, it will enable a more Open and agile software development capability for the PEO (C4I & Space) product line. Therefore, government unrestricted data/ software rights will be required for all new PEO (C4I & Space) software development, and such development will take place in the DDWE environment. In addition, selected existing software components are of interest to PEO for loading onto DDWE and therefore contractors of existing or new software are encouraged to contact the announcement Point-of-Contact (Mr. Ed Wunner 619-524-7595, Edward.wunner@navy.mil) for requesting site access and follow-on discussions.
