Description

This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ ME-03-0318-01. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Please note that there is currently no waivers in place for these NAICS Code when in compliance to the “nonmanufacture rule” listed on SBA at http://www.sba.gov/GC/approved.html. The definition of the “nonmanufacture rule” stated in FAR 19.001 is as follows "Nonmanufacturer rule" means that a contractor under a small business set-aside or 8(a) contract shall be a small business under the applicable size standard and shall provide either its own product or that of another domestic small business manufacturing or processing concern (see 13 CFR 121.406). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. NAICS Code 335221 (Household Cooking Appliance Manufacturing) and 335222 (Household Refrigerator and Home Freezer Manufacturing) applies to this procurement. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: Qty: 44 Qty 44 - Self-Cleaning Electric Range: approx dimensions (44 7/16 in x 27 3/4 in x 30 in) Color Appearance: White on White. These need to be for delivery and installation.
