- The Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) Pacific Division is issuing a request for quote (RFQ) for use in the country of Japan. This (RFQ) is for various size sheets of Peacock Railroad Board, Construction Paper and Art Supplies. Details for this RFQ is under solicitation number MDA412-03-T-0024. This solicitation is a commercial type product and is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR PART 12 and 13), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (Fac 2001-12). This announce constitutes the only Request For Quotation. No written RFQ will be issued. This RFQ is for 100% Small Business set-aside, Small Women Owned Business are encouraged to participate. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. Basis of Award: The government will award a purchase order to the contractor offering the best overall value to the Government, price and other factors shall be considered. In addition to price, past performance will be used to evaluate offers where past performance is significantly more important than price. Evaluation of past performance does not require the creation or existence of a formal database, but may be on such information as the Contracting Officers knowledge, previous work experience, customer surveys, etc.. Equal offers: Requires sufficient product description data or specification sheets to allow users to evaluate the "equal". Offerors shall also fax "equal" product information with quote. Failure to provide information will result in "equal" to be considered non-responsive. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 322130, and the size standard is 750. Interested/capable sources must be registered and provide there Central Contract Registration (CCR) number along with their quote in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. Registration information for CCR is located at the following web-site; http://www.ccr.gov/. Offers are due 16: 00 PM EST 10 April 2003. Quotes must be valid for 60 calendar days after close of solicitation. . All quotes shall provide destination shipping cost to: DDD/SJ, Tracy Depot Bldg. 30CCP, 25600-Chrisman Rd, Tracy CA. 95376.
