- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Qty: 1 ea TRION Minilock Reactive Ion Etch System, with helium backside cooling of wafer and with low temperature cooling system to give an extended chuck temperature range from -50C to +20C. Include interchangeable 6" and 4" electrode plates, and an adapter plate integration with existing software is required. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the item from TRION Technology, Inc., Clearwater, FL. TRION Technology is the only authorized source. The safe design, and efficient and successful integration of the components to be replaced require intimate or proprietary knowledge of the existing TRION minilock system. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 04/02/2003. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
