NA The Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) Project Office will host a Presolicitation Conference on 27 Mar 03 to present current information on the U. S. Army?s projected procurement of a Surface-Launched AMRAAM (Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile) (SLAMRA AM) system. The briefing will be held in the Rocket Auditorium, Building 7120, Redstone Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. Registration is 0730-0830; the briefing will begin promptly at 0830. The SLAMRAAM Product Manager will provide the latest information to industry regarding the Army?s SLAMRAAM mission and will solicit industry for constructive comments. Program details, key events, and the acquisition approach will be discussed.
