- Description
- The US Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806 - 5000 intends to issue, subject to availability of funds, a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the manufacture and delivery of 81mm Mortar M752A1 and M299 Mortar Ignition Cartridges. This procurement action will utilize a firm fixed priced contract to procure a basic quantity of up to 16,824 M752A1 Mortar Ignition Cartridges along with First Article Testing. Planned options include Option I (Date of Award-Sep 06) for up to 60,000 M752A1 and 5,000 M299 Ignition Cartridges; Option II (Oct 04-Sep 07) for up to 50,000 M752A1 and 5,000 M299 Ignition Cartridges; and Option III (Ramp-up Option from Oct 03-Sep 07) for up to 9,500 M752A1 and 20,000 M299 Ingnition Cartridges. Contractors interested in participating in this procurement must have, or be able to obtain, the required engineering staff, equipment, expertise and facility to meet the US Government requirements. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available (without the TDP) electronically at the following internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about 2 April 2003.
