- NA (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number is DRMCHE-3069-N012 / DRMCHE-3066-N010 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12, dated 27 Jan 2003. (iv) The SIC is 3589 and the NAICS is 333319. The small business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may reply. Offerors shall submit a si gned and dated quote to Directorate of Contracting, Post Office Box 140, Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473-0140 or fax to (573) 596-0267 by 4:30 p.m. (local time) on March 21, 2002. Evaluation criteria includes technical capability of the item to meet the Government requirement; price; delivery. (x) Offerors shall include a comp leted copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (may be downloaded from website http://www.arnet.gov) . (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acqu isition. (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) No additional contract requirements. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to result from this solicitation. The following clauses apply to this acquisition and some fill-ins are required and must be included with the offer. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. EVALUATION OF PRICE: Prices shall be evalu ated by multiplying the unit price by the quantities shown for the respective items listed. Discounts for early payment, if offered, will not be considered in the evaluation for award. 52.212-3 Alternate I, (fill-in) Offeror Representations and Certifica tions-Commercial Items. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with its offer. DETERMINATION OF AWARD: The Government will make contract award in accordance with FAR provision 52.212-1 (g) Any solicitation amendments issued by the Contracting Officer must be acknowledged by offerors. A statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions includ ed in the solicitation shall be provided by the offeror. Any offer that fails to furnish required representations and certifications, or which rejects or changes any terms and conditions of this solicitation, may be rejected and excluded from consideratio n. A written notice of award shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offers shall specify business size and classification. Facsimile offers will be accepted.
