- This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. More specifically, this is a Request for Comment. The Force Protection Command and Control Systems Program Office (ESC/FD) has developed an Interface Control Document for exchanging xml formatted data between sensor and display systems. It seeks to enable publish and subscribe capability for sensors and display systems that support Air Force Security Forces and other Force Protectors in DoD. This initiative is also a step forward in implementing ESC DAC Directive 002 (details located at http://herbb.hanscom.af.mil/C2ED_new/index.htm) This initial release is intended to collect comments from industry developers, implementers and end users to mature this ICD. The comment period will extend until 18 April 2003. At that time we will coordinate this ICD for configuration control as an ICD managed at Electronic Systems Center Force Protection C2 Systems Program Office. This forum on HERBB will be used to provide opportunity to comment on the Interface control document (ICD) and provide any updates to the ICD or related news. Please refer to the ?available documents? section for additional information. Included is a status document that, in addition to status, will also point you to new documents as they are added (file name will be the date it is uploaded, yyyymmdd) and summarize any changes made to existing documents.
