- Description
- VA Minneapolis, MN has a requirement for a contractor to provide Mammography Services off site under Request for Proposal #RFP 618-10-03 to both male and female veterans who reside in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota. Minneapolis VA currently refers between 600-700 mammograms per year to a contract provider. The majority of these are screening mammograms with about four diagnostic bilateral mammograms per week. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 15 Negotiated Acquisition Procedures and under Public Law 104-262 The Veterans Health Care Eligibility Reform Act of 1996 and Title 38 United States Code Section 8153, with a Commercial Items format of terms, conditions, and provisions/clauses. NAICS Code 621111 applies for this procurement and the small business size standard is $8.5 million. Contract is for one-year period with options to renew for two additional twelve-month periods.
