- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) for the Center for Scientific Review (CSR) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Comcast Cable Vision of Potomac, 20 West Gude Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850, to provide broadband commercial internet cable services for the period of one (1) year, with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods . The acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 513210, and Size Standard is $12.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement. Responses to this announcement, referencing synopsis number NHLBI-PS-2003-057 may be submitted to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, Building RKL2, Suite 6042, 6701 Rockledge drive, Bethesda, MD 20892-7902, Attention Ms. Cecilia Morales, Purchasing Agent.
