Description
The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is planning a Direct Conversion with Cost Comparison Study of Mail and Supply Functions at the NRCS office in Champaign Illinois. The USDA, NRCS is seeking sources capable of providing mailroom support tasks including general mailroom operations (receiving, sorting, distributing, collecting, and sending mail), office reproduction services, vehicle maintenance service, central supply room operations, and pick up and delivery services. Must have knowledge of FedEx, USPS, and UPS systems. Major clerical support tasks include general office support functions, including typing, filing, copying, mail, faxing, and mail distribution. Maintains vehicle fleet in Champaign. Government personnel are currently providing these services. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offerors are advised that a contract may not be awarded if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance of Government personnel. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services.
