- Description
- This contract requires installation of 3? PVC water line, valves and associated materials in accordance with drawings and specifications to provide a functional water system for all associated facilities in the recreation area. The contractor shall be responsible for locating and marking the existing underground electrical lines, before waterline installation begins. The contractors will be responsible for making their own measurements to complete a finished and functional water system. Installation locations have been staked for the beginning and ending sections of the new waterlines. Maintain a minimum of on foot vertical separation between installed waterlines and existing underground electrical lines. The contractor shall cap all waterlines, which are cut and abandoned due to this contract. This project is located at Houston Recreation Area, on the Bankhead Ranger District, Alabama.
