Description

This project is for reconstruction to improve and/or repair roadbed damage and sedimentation due to inadequate drainage on segments of Roads 4670, 4483 and 4483-280. The project includes reconstruction of approximately one kilometer. Work includes subgrade excavation of approximately 3946 cubic meters including removal and disposal of unsuitable excavation, hauling, placing and compacting approximately 781 cubic meters of crushed aggregate surfacing, and approximately 114 cubic meters of screened aggregate, constructing 90 meters of permeable road backfill, laying 413 square meters of Geotextile, constructing 5 rolling dips, 2 water bars and closing a 115 meter segment of road. Approximately 49 cubic meters of riprap will be needed to end dump in 175m long roadway ditch and in a lead out ditch outlet. The project is located approximately 50 miles north of Klamath Falls on the Chiloquin Ranger District, Winema National Forest, Klamath County Oregon. This project is expected to range between $25,000 and $100,000. The project will be issued approximately March 19, 2003. DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AT A LATER DATE. AT THIS TIME THE EXPECTED DATE OF ISSUE IS APRIL 7, 2003.
