- Description
- Project consists of removal of existing bridge and replacing with a timber bridge with steel piling. Includes construction of temporary by-pass bridges in accordance with the plans and specifications. The bridge is located on FSR 181 approximately 35 miles west of Rapid City, SD. Work includes establishing adjacent detours, removing existing timber structure and salvage stringers, install new timber and steel pile abutments, install new dowel laminated timber longitudinal deck panels, install new bridge rail and support guardrail, replace the bridge, remove temporary bridge, and seed disturbed areas. Project is located in Pennington County, SD, Black Hills National Forest. Estimated bid range is between $100,000 - $250,000. The NAICS code is 237310. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Solicitation is open competition for both large and small business. All responsible sources will be considered by the agency. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to fedbizopps.gov for download from this website exclusively. The solicitation will be issued approximately April 3, 2003. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for April 16, 2003. Bids are tentatively due May 6, 2003.
