- NA Wiesbaden Contracting Center (WCC) intends to competitively award a requirements type contract with fixed unit prices for preventive maintenance services and time-and-material features for routine and emergency repair. Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) has a valid and continuing requirement for the repair and maintenance of food service equipment and facilities for approximately 45 commissaries (Supermarkt) located throughout Germany, Belgium (Chievres) and The Netherlands (Schinnen). Only the facility repai rs estimated up to EUR2,000.00 are included under this contract and services will be provided only, if and when, ordered by the Government. Task Orders will be issued annually for all PM and repair work, with quantity increases throughout the contract peri od. The contract will be awarded for a base year period with two consecutive priced options of one-year each for its extension. In addition, the contract may be extended by Award Term up to an additional two years due to good performance. The total contra ct potential period is 5 years. Award will be made by Area, consisting of commissaries within four geographical locations as specified in the solicitation. More than one Area may be awarded to a single offeror. More than one Area may be awarded to a sin gle offeror. The required services include installation, removal, exchange, disposal, transportation, automated inventory control, repair parts management, hazardous waste removal (freon, oil, etc.). Equipment for maintenance and repair include, among o thers, meat cutting equipment, refrigeration units, air-conditioning units, ovens, forklifts, lighting, exhaust hoods, and boilers (steam). Repair of facilities may include interior plumbing, walls, loading docks, floor coverings, exterior electric and ex terior/interior painting, grease/oil separators and sludge traps. Capability Statements are required for submission in addition to the priced offers to ensure contractor?s capability to perform the requirements in Germany. It is anticipated that the solic itation will be issued within the next two weeks. A combination pre-proposal conference / site visit at Hanau is tentatively scheduled on 03 Apr 03.
