- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 Commercial Activities Study of Geological Analysis Services presently being performed by the U.S. Dept of Agriculture, Natural Resources conservation Service (NRCS). This sysnopsis is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. NRCS is seeking sources capable of providing Geological Analysis Services throughout the fifty states and Caribbean Basin. Currently, the Government in-house workforce performs these services. NRCS intends to perform a cost comparison study, pursuant to OMB Circular a-76 in order to determine the most cost effective service provider. Accordingly, a contract may or may not be awarded as a result of the study/cost comparison. If a contractor is selected as the service provider, an award will be made in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and all other applicable NRCS and federal government acquisition regulations. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Cosde is 541330.
