- NA THIS SOLICITATION IS MODIFIED TO DELETE HUGO LAKE IN ITS ENTIRETY. This project will include the removal of rust and deteriorating paint on three tainter gates at Chouteau Lock and Dam No. 17 and appropriate members by sandblasting. No lead based paint exists on tainter gates. Repaint with vinyl paint system in accordan ce with appropriate painting processes. Estimated volume of blasting is expected to be approximately 45 cubic yards at Chouteau. Project also includes replacement of sides and bottom tainter gate seals and deteriorating bolts. Work shall also include fu rnishing and installing new anodes. Estimated cost range of this project at Chouteau is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about March 24, 2002, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS W ILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
