Matl; Nickel Alloy Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Governments Required Delivery: 31 Dec 2003, 338 ea. First Article Required for award other than OEM. The approximate close date will be 9 May 2003. This item requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the item. The reliability of this part is dependent upon establishing and maintaining effective process control; Quality cannot be inspected into this part. This item requires engineering source approval by the Design Control Activity in order to assure that prospective offerors are capable of establishing and maintaining effective process control. No telephone requests or fax request will be accepted. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns dealing with this requirement. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or the Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
