- The government has a requirement for 15 ea. NSN 1560004653793FL, Part Number 5-96190-3021 Left Hand Elevator and 11 ea. NSN 1560004653794FL, Part Number 5-96190-3022 Right Hand Elevator. A Sole Source Contract will be awarded to The Boeing Company as Boeing is determined to be the only responsible source for this critical item. The Boeing company as the original equipment manufacturer has the only complete engineering database for the C/KC135 weapon system. Boeing is the only entity with the continuous expertise, data, tooling for manufacture of these elevators. The Boeing Company maintains data right for these parts. This data is not available through any other source.
