- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) intends to award a 9-month extension worth approximately $69K to DMS Technologies LLC of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, on a single source basis. This effort is in support of ATB-240. The effort being performed is National Airspace System (NAS) Terminal Engineering Support. Specific system is the Automated Radar Terminal System (ARTS IIIA). Tasks involve overall system engineering support and senior technical review and program support. The total value of this award including previously performed effort and the above extension will be approximately $287K. DMS Technologies is a contractor located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, in close proximity to the William J. Hughes Technical Center, which, having an existing knowledge of NAS Terminal Systems, is uniquely qualified to address the needs of ATB-240 as specified in the SOW. DMS has extensive experience in programmatic support, system engineering and management as well as FAA administration, which are key to meeting the responsibilities, and requirements of the ATB-240 mission. DMS is currently providing the specific expertise required to support the ARTS IIIA program including experiential expertise in terminal and en-route air traffic control activities. In 2004 this work effort will be transitioned to the forthcoming ESSA contract, and may be available for competition under that omnibus contract. It is the intent of the FAA to complete this award to DMS Technologies, LLC, under the authority of Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4-Single Source Selection Procurement Process, Subpart 3.2.2.4.1.2, non-emergencies.
