- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. DTFASW-03-R-03602 Break Room Renovations of the Dallas/Fort Worth (D/FW) Airport Air Traffic Control Towers (East and West), the Terminal and Radar Approach Control Facility, and the Center Air Traffic Control Tower. POINT OF CONTACT: Rose Marie S. Mendoza, Contracting Officer, 817-222-4338; Brad Gilmore, Contract Administrator, 817-222-4348 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Small Business construction contractors interested in providing offers for the Break Room Renovations at the D/FW Airport. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 233310. The estimated price range of this project is $75,000 - $125,000. Contract performance time is 120 calendar days. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, renovations of the D/FW Airport Air Traffic Control Towers, the Terminal and Radar Approach Control facilities. The scope of work is primarily focused on the break rooms and high use hallways at each of these facilities, but does include the associated plumbing, HVAC and electrical work necessary to complete the renovations, as well as related utilities, and site improvements as indicated by the drawings and specifications. The contractor is expected to perform 20% of the work using its own employees. There will only be one (1) "Mandatory" pre-bid /site visit for this project, and will be held at the TRACON. A meeting date will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Offer (RFO) package is expected to be available to small business contractors the week of March 24, 2003. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 4:30 p.m. (CST), March 21, 2003. The RFO packages will be provided to the first ten (10) requestors only.
