- Description
- The DHHS/Federal Occupational Health Service (FOHS) has a requirement to acquire the services of certified industrial hygienists, engineers, scientists, safety experts and other professionals who will enable FOHS to provide high quality environmental health services to other Federal agencies under Economy Act inter-agency agreements. Specific professional and technical capabilities include industrial hygiene, safety, environmental health and environmental engineering, ergonomics, health physics, environmental geology, etc. Services to be performed include: investigations, studies and evaluations in the areas of environmental health and management, quality assurance activities, HVAC evaluations, asbestos and lead inspections and abatement oversight, hazardous materials inventories and surveys, and consultation to FOHS and other Federal managers as required. FOHS intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts for these services in the following three areas of the United States: The Western Area consisting of the states of: ND, SD, MT, WY, CO, UT, CA, NV, AZ, WA, OR, ID, AK, HI, including Guam, American Samoa and the US Territories. The Central Area consisting of the states of: KY, NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, MS, FL, OH, IN, IL, MI, WI, MN, IA, KS, NE, AR, LA, OK, TX, and NM. The Eastern Area consisting of the states of: ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, WV including Puerto Rico and Federal Government installations in the Virgin Islands. The period of performance is for a base year with four one-year option periods. Solicitation number 233-03-0300 will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities website approximately 15 days after publication of this notice. This acquisition is 100% set aside for competition amongst small business concerns. The NAICS is 541620--$6Million.
