- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to furnish and install 6 new ?H? steel fender piles. The project includes, but not limited to pile driving 6 new HP 12X65 ?H? steel fender piles, one foot from the existing dock. The new piles will also be fitted with a schedule 40 PVC sleeve. The PVC sleeve will extend from the top of the pile to the bottom of the sea floor. Work shall be performed at U.S. Coast Guard Station Marathon, Florida. The performance period is thirty (30) calendar days from notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quoter. The anticipated award date is April 18, 2003. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 2379900, with a size standard of $28.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be accepted.
