Description
The VA National Acquisition Center will issue RFP 797-NC-03-0019 for the Department of Veterans Affairs=92 (VA) and Department of Defense=92s (DoD) requirements for family drug groups, Isosorbide Dinitrate tablets and Tramadol HCL tablets.=20 ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE TABLETS has an estimated annual usage of 10,024 bottles of 10mg in bottles of 100 each, 85,948 bottles of 10mg in bottles of 1000 each, 16,587 bottles of 20mg in bottles of 100 each, 121,048 bottles of 20mg in bottles of 1000 each, 3,300 bottles of 5mg in bottles of 100 each and 4,260 bottles of 5mg in bottles of 1000. TRAMADOL HCL TABLETS has an estimated annual usage of 53,345 bottles in bottles of 100 each and 72,880 bottles in bottles of 500 OR 36,440 bottles in bottles of 1000. NOTE: Where there is a choice of package size as indicated by the word =93OR=94, the offeror must submit a price on at least one of the two sizes indicated. Award will be made on the package size most advantageous to the Government. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA and DoD only; however, Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities and the Bureau of Prisons (BOP)facilities may be added to the solicitation later. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors (PPV). Tablets must be compatible with automatic dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc.) and if the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Glass bottles are not acceptable. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of March 28, 2003 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management=92s (O&AMM) internet web site @ http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm.Offers will be due by 4:00 pm Central Standard Time on April 29, 2003.
