Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Information Resources Division proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) with the Institute for Scientific Information, 3501 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 for current year access (01/01/03 - 12/31/03) to the Science Citation Index Expanded edition of Web of Science for NOAA and NTIA employees located in Boulder. The Web of Science allows Internet access to ISI's Citation Indexes. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. No award will be made on the basis of requests in response to this notice. Information submitted in response to this notice will used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government's best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement. This announcement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. Estimated government cost is between $25,000 and $100,000.
