- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Bruker AXS Inc. The procurement consists of one X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF). This spectrometer is the only unit that meets NSWC Indian Head?s sensitivity requirements with single load position, detection of Na to Ur at less than 5ppm, a He flush and Peltier cooled Palladium anode and dimensional constraints equal to 23.4?x 31.3?x25.4?. The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 334516. The FSC code is 6630. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22.
