- NA The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Jackson, SC. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of South Carolina, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Jackson, SC, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, d isadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ? NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 30 Jan 03. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Interagency Business Opportunity Page. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 27 Mar 03 at DOIM Conference Room, 4282 Jackson Blvd, Fort Jackson, SC. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30am (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 am ? 12:00 pm. Offerors planning to attend are required to noti fy the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 19 Mar 03. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 19 Mar 03 . Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received before 3 April 03. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
