- Description
- The 311 HSW/YASK intends to issue solicitation F41624-03-R-1107 for TEST STAND, DEMAND OXYGEN REGULATOR, PORTABLE. MIL-T-8429B, National Stock Number (NSN) 4920-01-181-9622MH, Part Number P7-02-0006. FSCM: 18560. Relative NAICS code 334510. The purpose of the solicitation will be to award a three-year, firm fixed price requirements type contract, to include a (1) one-year base period with Best Estimate Quantity (BEQ) of 40 (2) one year priced option periods with 9 each BEQ. Two year priced option periods with 8 each BEQ. FMS included. Best Estimate Quantity is 57 each. A FIRST ARTICLE, consisting of one (1) unit is required in accordance with MIL-T-8429B. All offerors shall produce a FIRST ARTICLE no waiver granted. After Contractor First Article Testing, with the government Quality Assurance Representative present, the First Article sample and Test Report will be shipped to the e-mail addresses listed on /IAW DD Form 1423, for approval. First Article sample will be destroyed. Size/Dimensions: Measurements are approximately 4.5 inches Height, 6.0 inches Width, and 12.0 inches Length. Predominate Material: Aluminum Alloy. Function: Used to check aircraft oxygen equipment. FOB: Origin. Responses should be submitted no later than 30 days after synopsis appears. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored. Only e-mail, written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable. This is a Small Business Set-Aside requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offeror. All potential offerors should contact the contract specialist/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
