- Description
- Utah - The Bureau of Land Management, Utah State Office, has a requirement for noxious weed (Scotch Thistle, Whitetop, Knapweed & Broadleaf Pepperweed) control by ground application. Contractor to provide all equipment, supplies, personnel and supervision to complete this requirement. Location of the treatment area is within the area of the Cedar City Field Office. The area to be treated is located in Iron, Beaver and Washington County, Utah. The estimated total weed area is 2500 acres of BLM land. The areas to be treated range from scattered single plants, several plants at a location, concentrations of plants on approximately 1/10 acre and up to areas as large as 40 acres where plants are consistent across the area. A show-me tour is scheduled for April 2, 2003, to meet at the Cedar City BLM Field Office. The North American Industry Classification System Number for this procurement is 561730. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on March 21, 2003, or interested parties may request a copy either via e-mail to: susan_cowin@ut.blm.gov; by fax to (801)539-4222; or by telephonically to (801)539-4177. Requests must reference Solicitation Number JSQ034041, company name, US Postal mailing address, telephone number and a point of contract. Offers will be due on April 11, 2003. All offerors desiring to do business with the BLM must register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) no later than October 1, 2003, at http://www.ccr.gov/ in order to receive contracts, agreements, purchase orders or receive payment from most Federal Agencies. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. See Numbered Note 1.
