- The purpose of this AMENDMENT NO.4/Special Notice is to provide answers to the questions that many vendors have been asking. Please review the information below and formulate it into your proposal or your revised proposal for those whom have already submitted their proposals. The Bureau has not answered all questions, however, we're working on it, and hope to have all questions answered within the next 24 hours. (applies to SunFire 6800 systems, x500 systems are two cpu boards) QUESTION: Ultra 5*** 644F0BCE - Sun's database shows as a Ultra 1 Do you want it quoted as Ultra 1, or Ultra 5 ? ANSWER: Sun's database is correct as an Ultra 1 QUESTION: Ultra 10 PR07023291 - S/N does not show up in Sun's database. ANSWER: ATF must confirm serial number QUESTION: Ultra 5 / E450 924H2598 - Listed as 2 different system types. S/N is consistent with the E450 listed. ANSWER: This is an E450 on Sun's database. Needs to be quoted as an E450 and the second sn needs to be confirmed by ATF. (if Ultra 5 is needed please add serial number associated. If not, delete Ultra 5 name) QUESTION: Ultra 10 PR09058880 - S/N does not show up in Sun's database. ANSWER: ATF must confirm info, serial number is not consistent with system type. This is an ultra 10 sitting at ATF, and okay to quote qty 1 of Ultra 10, but ATF must verify correct serial number. This is a part number.
