- Description
- Scope of work includes but is not limited to: replacement of exisiting steel windows in Buildings 61 & 65 of the GSA Federal Center, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The replacement will include removal of existing steel windows including sub-frame in bldgs 61 & 65, installation of new fixed double glazed bronze anodized aluminum windows with thermal break at bldgs 61 & 65 and lead abatement of steel windows during selective demolition, bldgs 61 & 65, all in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. Contract completion is 160 calendar days after notice to proceed. This contract requires a lump sum offer. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The estimated cost range is between $200,000 and $400,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. Specifications will be available on or about January 3, 2003. GSA, PBS, Property Mgmt Division, Contract Services Branch, no longer issues construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified(SBU) information. For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors. In addition, the following information must be submitted and or provided by the requester via the Notice. 1. Copy of company business license 2. Company's Dun and Bradstreet Number 3. Valid Tax Identification number. For persons picking up the SBU documents in person a valid picture driver's license is required. The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. NO TELEPHONIC, E:MAIL OR FACSIMILE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED. After verification of the preceeding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the solicitation will be released in compact disc(CD) to the requester. Potential offerors must ensure that requests include the address to which the CD is to be sent. All requests must be submitted to: General Services Administration, Attn: Debbie Ethell, 509 W. Capitol-Ste 206, Springfield, Illinois 62704. Potential offerors will be responsible for monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any, to the solicitation.
