- NONPERSONAL SERVICES: REFUSE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL. This is a presolicitation notice for refuse collection and disposal services for Laughlin AFB (LAFB), Texas. This requirement is unrestricted. The solicitation will be issued electronically through via Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.eps.gov) on or about 14 February 03. (The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations). The NAICS code for this project is 562111 with a size standard of $10.5 million dollars. The contractor shall provide management, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies and vehicles necessary to perform refuse collection and disposal services for LAFB for Base, Military Family Housing (MFH), MFH Mobile Home, LAFB Hospital, and LAFB Commissary. The anticipated period of performance is the base year from 01 April 03 through 30 September 03 plus four option years; first option year 01 Oct 03 through 30 Sep 04, second option year 01 Oct 04 through 30 Sep 05, third option year 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06, and fourth option year 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7000. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet with the following address: ccr.gov or by calling 1-800-333-0505. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, they will submit offers by electronic mail or regular mail by the date and location specified on the solicitation.
