- Description
- The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is providing the following information regarding the pre-proposal conference. The Pre-Proposal conference has been scheduled for 1:00 pm on April 22, 2003 at the Washington Plaza located at 10 Thomas Circle, NW Washington DC 20005 (at Massachusetts Avenue & 14th Street). Attendance is limited to four (4) persons from any given 8(a) firm eligible to participate in this procurement. Eligible firms are those firms serviced by the Washington Metropolitan Area District Office. All companies planning to have representation at the conference shall provide the company name and it's representative's names via e-mail to Danny.Price@fra.dot.gov or Sharon.Flowers@fra.dot.gov no later than close of business (COB) April 15, 2003. All questions regarding the solicitation should be submitted COB April 15, 2003 to either Danny Price or Sharon Flowers via email at the above email address. Additional information: The synopsis stated that the contract will include a 15 month base period, three consecutive one-year option periods, and a fourth option period consisting of 9 months. The contract will also include the clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999). The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-MAR-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 07-MAR-2003.
