- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) which will solicit proposals to provide assistance to Division of Community-Based Programs grantees in developing, implementing, and sustaining a program to track and improve quality of patient care outcomes. This project would provide a defined system for quality improvement, including: 1) on-going on-site consultation to at least 100 Ryan White CARE Act (RWCA) Title III and Title IV grantees per year, 2) use of specific quality indicators, 3) provision of Microsoft Access database software or compatible to assist grantees in data collection and analysis, and 4) collection, aggregation, and analysis of data from grantees to report on quality improvements made on a national level. This requirement will be for one (1) base year and two (2) options years for a total of thirty-six (36) months. This proposed requirement is for FULL-AND-OPEN COMPETITION because the work that is to be performed under this contract is specific and requires the expertise of community-based systems of care, health care providers such as hospitals, community health centers and community based organizations to provide Early Intervention Services to people infected with HIV. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. Solicitation will be issued on or about February 6, 2003 with a closing date on or about March 7, 2003.
