- CHANGE OF DATE: The conference will be held on March 25, 2003, at Edward Hines VA Medical Center, Hines, Illinois, from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. NO OTHER CHANGES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center will conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Contract on March 20, 2003 at the Edward Hines VA Medical Center, Hines Illinois. The contract will have a base year plus option years not to exceed five years total contract performance. The resultant contract(s) shall be Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract. The contractor shall be required to maintain an adequate supply of and distribute all drug/pharmaceutical products (Federal Supply Class 65)and limited medsurg products. The contract will cover all the VA healthcare facilities and participating other government agencies healthcare facilities throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Marianas, and Virgin Islands. Interested and responsible companies with at least five years pharmaceutical prime vendor distribution experience are encourage to attend the conference. Due to number of potential attendees, participation may be limited to two representatives per company.
