Description
The United States Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement - Modular furniture reconfiguration services Solicitation No. 52PAPT301005. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), located in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, has a requirement for Commercial Item inventory, planning, and reconfiguration services for all existing systems workstations and modular furniture at the USPTO. The primary purpose of the inventory is to create an accurate survey of the systems furniture components and to plan the reconfiguration of the systems furniture on a phased moving schedule, to fit in standard size offices. The secondary purpose is to identify existing modular furniture at the USPTO, which is too large for future offices, or has wall-mounted items. Planning services will include a determination of what new systems product (per manufacturer, product line, and finish) will be required to reconfigure layouts within closed offices. The planning portion for modular furniture requires analysis of existing furniture conditions and determination as to physical moves and re-reinstallation at a new facility. The reconfiguration services include disassembling the systems furniture, physical relocation to a new site, and reconfiguring it per the approved layouts. Warehousing space for the receipt and dispersal of systems furniture parts and pieces are also requested for the reconfiguration. The period of performance is anticipated from March 2003 through May 2005. This acquisition is a 100% total small business set-aside. A copy of the Solicitation 52PAPT301005 will be available at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm on February 12, 2003. Proposals are due back for review on March 7, 2003. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 484210 and 811420. The point of contact for all information regarding this acquisition is Frank L. Rumph, Contracting Officer at 703.306.4505. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-MAR-2003).
