- Description
- The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be prequalifying suppliers for a forthcoming production of six different Priority Mail boxes. These boxes includes full overlap slotted container (FOL), die-cut and regular slotted container (RSC) boxes. The six different boxes are offered in two lots to each fulfillment centers (IN and CA), thus multiple awards will be made. The awards will be for a three year base period with seven one-year options. The supplier must be capable of: Producing in-house (have the equipment, with open capacity) a minimum quantity of the boxes required. Capable of applying closure tape and tear string to the boxes. The annual quantity of each box ranges from approximately 4.7 million to 7.5 million for the CA location and 9.6 million to 14.1 million for the IN location. The prequalification package is attached. Prequalification proposals (seven copies) are required no later than April 7, 2003.
