- Description
- The NSWC, Crane Division?s (NSWC Crane?s) mission is to provide Fleet Support, Acquisition, Acquisition Engineering, Research and Development, Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test& Evaluation, Logistics, Maintenance & Repair, Legacy Systems/Products, and associated Program Management. To support these mission areas, a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) was executed with Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), 100 CTC Dr., Johnstown, PA 15904-1935 on 24 JAN 2002 for a maximum amount of $49M. The BOA has a three-year ordering period and 2 one-year options. The BOA supports research and development (R&D) efforts necessary to provide state-of-the-art engineering and technology to our nation?s warfighters. The BOA includes complex scientific and systems engineering support for projects essential to rapid adoption and integration of advanced technology into modern weapons syst ems. Orders are issued to CTC based on competitive source selection under Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) N00164-01-R-0155. CTC has provided high-tech R&D efforts since this BOA was executed, and it is anticipated that similar work will be performed during the next ordering year. Recent tasks performed by CTC have included fundamental and applied state-of-the-art research and concept formulation; assessment of system and sub-system requirements; development, analysis and evaluation of concepts, systems and subsystems; and development of operational systems. Periodic reviews and synopsis of the BOA will be performed by this activity as required. Responsible sources may submit inquires that will be considered by this agency.
