- NA The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 from Cree Inc, 4600 Silicon Drive, Durham, NC 27703 for the purchase of silicon carbide wafers in accordance with the specifications to be included in the RFQ. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Sin gle Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Howeve r, all proposals received before the response date indicated in this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be honored.
